Happy Cinco de Mayo, Y’all! We’ve come up with the perfect margarita recipe that doesn’t have all of the added sugar that restaurant margaritas have. It’s 4 easy ingredients, so you can go from work to chillin’ on your roof with a margarita in less time than it takes to open a bottle of wine.*
*This has not been tested but, seriously, these take, like, three minutes to make!
Serving Size: 2 margaritas
Time: 3 minutes
4 ounces tequila
2 ounces Cointreau
Juice the 4 limes. Add the Tequila and the Cointreau. Mix well.
Rub the rim of two glasses with a lime wedge. Dip the glass in margarita salt. Fill glasses with ice. Pour Margarita mixture into the glasses.
You can even throw all of the ingredients into the blender to make a frozen margarita. Feeling crazy? Add a few strawberries or mango slices to the blender and you’ve got yourself a homemade frozen fruit margarita.
